Dynamic Speakers Training
The Dynamic Speaker Academy is a 12-week training program created for people who want to become more than good presenters — they want to become memorable communicators.
This program goes beyond the traditional speaking club or presentation workshop by combining the structure of public speaking, the timing and relatability of stand-up comedy, and the emotional presence of acting and monologue work.
Participants will learn how to command attention, organize their ideas, tell compelling stories, connect emotionally, use humor naturally, and deliver presentations with confidence and stage presence.
By the end, participants will be able to deliver a polished 10–15 minute presentation that is clear, engaging, emotionally resonant, and unforgettable.
Great public speaking is more than delivering information — it is learning how to hold attention, build connection, and make your message memorable. Inspired by Toastmasters International, the National Speakers Association, and the performance-based training available through Rise Comedy Theater, this program blends the structure of professional speaking with the creativity of standup and the spontaneity of improv. You’ll learn how to organize your ideas, tell stronger stories, think on your feet, use humor effectively, and speak with greater confidence in any room. Whether you’re presenting at work, building your brand, leading a team, or stepping onto a stage, these skills help you become a more polished, powerful, and engaging communicator.
Phase 1: Foundation & Confidence
In the first four weeks, participants will build the foundation for a clear, organized, and engaging 5–7 minute presentation. The focus is on sharpening the message, capturing attention, using story effectively, and developing confident delivery skills.
Theme: Who are you when you stand in front of a room?
Participants begin by identifying their natural speaking style, strengths, fears, and habits. The focus is on creating safety, building confidence, and helping each person understand that great speaking is not about being perfect — it is about being present, clear, and connected.
Theme: Facts explain. Stories make people care.
Participants learn the building blocks of a compelling story and why stories are more memorable than information alone. The goal is to turn life experiences, business lessons, failures, and turning points into meaningful speaker material.
Theme: The audience has to know why they should care.
This week focuses on helping speakers stop talking “at” an audience and start speaking “to” them. Participants learn how to shape a message around the audience’s needs, problems, emotions, and desired transformation.
Theme: Your body speaks before your words do.
This week focuses on the physical side of speaking. Participants learn how posture, movement, eye contact, voice, silence, and facial expression affect how an audience receives the message.
Phase 2: Performance Skills
Weeks 5–8 help you move from presenting information to creating a meaningful connection with your audience. You’ll learn how to use your voice, energy, humor, vulnerability, and transitions to hold attention, build trust, and keep people engaged from start to finish.
Discover how your voice can shape the audience’s experience. You’ll practice using pauses, pacing, emphasis, and emotional tone to create variety, build suspense, highlight key ideas, and make your message more engaging.
Discover how humor can help lower the audience’s guard, build connection, and make your message stick. You’ll explore observational humor, self-awareness humor, and comedic storytelling so you can add levity, personality, and authenticity to your presentations.
Build the skill of connecting with the people in front of you. You’ll practice reading the room, creating audience interaction, and showing up with authenticity so your presentation feels less like a speech and more like a shared experience.
Strengthen the overall flow of your presentation by learning how to connect ideas with purpose, maintain momentum, and guide your audience through each emotional beat of your message. You’ll practice transitions that feel natural, polished, and engaging from beginning to end.
Theme: You do not need to be a comedian to be funny.
This week introduces practical comedy tools speakers can use to become more engaging. The goal is not to turn everyone into a stand-up comic. The goal is to help speakers recognize humor, sharpen timing, and use personality to create connection.
Theme: The audience believes you when you believe you.
This week brings in acting and monologue techniques to help speakers access emotion, presence, and authenticity. Participants learn how to speak with truth instead of “presenter voice.”
Theme: The laugh, the silence, and the pause all matter.
Participants learn how to slow down, listen to the room, and stop rushing through important moments. This week connects stand-up timing with public speaking delivery.
Theme: The best speakers have a recognizable voice.
This week helps participants identify their speaking personality and point of view. Are they funny? Direct? Warm? Bold? Wise? Energizing? Calm? The goal is to help each speaker stop sounding generic and start sounding like themselves.
Phase 3 - Professionalization
Weeks 9–12 are designed to help you turn your presentation into a polished, professional 12–18 minute talk that can support paid opportunities, business growth, training, workshops, and speaking engagements. This phase focuses on refining your message, positioning your expertise, strengthening your call to action, and delivering with confidence.
Theme: Your talk needs a clear message, not just good moments.
Participants begin building their final presentation. They define the core message, audience, promise, structure, and emotional journey of their talk.
Theme: Clarity beats cleverness.
Participants refine their talks by removing filler, tightening stories, improving transitions, and strengthening key lines. This week is about making the presentation cleaner, sharper, and more impactful.
Theme: The audience remembers what they feel.
This week focuses on adding emotional depth to the final talk. Participants learn how to use vulnerability, tension, stakes, and reflection without becoming overly dramatic or self-indulgent.
Theme: Put it all together.
Participants perform their final 10–15 minute signature presentation in front of the group. Each speaker receives coaching on content, delivery, stage presence, humor, emotional connection, and overall impact.
